It\'s a hectic afternoon here and while the velvet rope still blocks our front door, inside our staff is already hard at work. Robots whirl about unpacking the lounge furniture, polishing glasses, and dusting tables. The air is thick with their mechanical excitement. Soon the order will be given and the countdown will begin.
What are Sushi Projects? They're raw, small, and powerful games. They're card games printed in black and white, served up in a baggie for easy carrying. And of course, they're cheap. You can get 5 games or more different games for the price of one game sold by another company.
But what else are they? They are part of a grand experiment in game design and production.
You see, for the next few months, we will be trying to release two new games every month. And don\'t think we\'re just sloppily throwing games out there: each one will be thoroughly tested and expertly designed graphically. We want to give you, the game players of the world, a diverse menu of games to choose from. We plan to span the various game genres, and bring both solid traditional style games along with experimental games by our game design studio.
Most of all, we want to know what you think. Love a game? Hate it? You can rate all of our games right on the site, and comment on them. If a game is popular enough, we\'ll consider giving it a full color treatment later on when we enter that phase of the experiment.
Happy Playing,
Dave

Welcome to the Grand Opening!
With 15,000 square feet of lovingly refurbished factory floor and hundreds of well programmed employees, Robot Martini is the most unique experience in Boltmond City. Our venue's bar is fully stocked with top shelf brands like Blasinov, Pizarro, and Sneek. Our lounge is equipped with modular couches which can easily be configured to suit anyone from the smallest mutant to the largest cyborg. Our kitchen is open 5 days a week, and with several class twelve Vulcan-grade stoveBOTS we can fulfill your needs quite quickly.

If cooked isn't your thing, check out our sushi menu for fresh things. Check back often as new items will be added ever couple of weeks!
Because our clientèle is so diverse, there is no dress code at Robot Martini. So feel free to be yourself no matter how conservative or freaky that might be. We do reserve the right to vaporize trouble makers, and all villains are required to leave their weapons in the lobby by state law. We do not allow jet-packs or large bags of any kind, nor outside liquor or drinks in our building at this time.
Thanks for your patronage.
With one down and 260 to go, the office is already busy prepping games for atomic sushi wave two. The Long Island Project, the first game to launch in wave two is now complete and awaits printing. DHV round 2: Atomic Emancipator vs Hunter Keller, which serves both as a stand alone game and a 3 to 4 player expansion to DHV round 1, is entering its final stage of testing and should have it's artwork finished early in the week. Launch is intended for February 16th, but due to February fools day the launch may be postponed to the following Friday. Check out wave 2's preview in the lounge for more details!
This week saw 18 people saunter up to the bar and begin making themselves at home. MechaShiva, one particularly zealous patron, took it upon herself to promote Profile Dysfunction / Flaccid User Rating Syndrome awareness and promote her new product 5TARS.
A number of minor alterations were made to the website, mostly to improve usability. The latest posts side bar is now clearer, contains more recent entries, and indicates the number of comments that have been made on each post. Some minor changes were made to the Lobby as well, though management is still not satisfied, and will no doubt change it again.
Work was begun integrating advertising, analysis, and marketing materials into the site towards the end of the week. Many thanks to Pizarro Tequila ("Explore the taste") for their participation in our sponsorship program. Their support ensures that we will be able to continue offering you and all of our patrons the best price for our products.
That's all for now!

52 orders
The Robots downstairs sent two photos up with our coffee and quail eggs this morning. The foreman explained that they were not in fact defective napkins, but rather photos of the 8 mailers our mule would be hauling through the snow to the post office this morning. This was surprising to the staff as they had neither noticed it was snowing nor the mule eating hay at the edge of their parking lot.

After pausing to reboot Vista several times, the foreman noted that with these orders we had reached 52 copies sold (or 10% of the very small initial stock). And that aside from problems with international shipping, the stock house was starting to run smoothly. Invoices were now printed and not hand written, addressing and logos were now also printed on the fly for the small mailers, and the inventory / finance system was keeping up.
Advertisement, while comical was also up. Our Analytical system reports that we've had 239 visitors, of which 25% are returning. Interesting too, while most visitors are from the USA, an ark cuts across from England to Italy, with outliers in Japan, Australia, and Brazil.
Shortly before Vista tanked his OS completely, the Foreman belted out his welcome of brettspiel, sparkybuzzed, and puppi to the Bar. Management welcomes them too, and hopes they enjoy their stay.
"Many thanks to all of our customers,' Management says. "Please find us in the lounge if you have feedback or questions."

It was a bit delayed because of the weather, but Wave 2 is officially at the printer. Wave 2 has DHV Round 2 (Atomic Emancipator vs. Helen Killer) that expands DHV to up to 4 players. Depending on how well the DHV series does, we want to add more characters to the game, which expands the number of players even more, and we'll also add some more multiplayer options.
Wave 2 also sees the premiere of my game, The Long Island Project. Some of you playtesters may remember this game as "Alchemist For Hire", a card game loved by German Game Company representatives who then took it back to discover that they couldn't publish it. This is the game famously called "excruciating" by the Carroll County Times, and "worse than poker" by a computer engineering scholar. However, I love this little game, and I love mixing together random Long Island Ice Teas that may happen to include several Cocktail Umbrellas and a splash of something from a Mystery Bottle. It's also brings with it two important milestones: the first game of ours to be sponsored by several companies (as we feature their products prominently in the game) and it is our first larger game. The Long Island Project clocks in at 110 cards, making it more than twice the size of our normal line.
Wave 3 is designed, and in the production stages. I'm proud to announce that award-winning game designers John Cooper and Kory Heath will be bringing us two games, both of which involve a bit of psychology. We'll be announcing more in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned.
