Adding an extra carry-on to your flight home

lots of postcards!
The industry seems to print everything in this format: adds for up coming movies, websites, and products (like the love bumper adult gymnastics foam wedge set and 'flesh light' novelty toy), as well as information on modeling jobs, and even a few temporary tattoos!
notable mention: I didn't know MrSkin.com (a website mentioned in the 2007 comdey Knocked Up) was actually a real website. Now I have a $10 coupon!
also the fleshlight (second from the top left) is printed on higher quality plastic than most credit cards. That's one seriously expensive add, and hundreds of them were being dumped into the garbage by uninterested expo goers.

Stripper tokens from VegasGirls.com
These could be spent to reduce the cost of getting a stripper (read: prostitute) to your hotel room, but were not applicable for use as 'tips'. You could get $5 to $150 off the visit depending on what you spun on a wheel. To qualify for a spin you had to submit your hotel room number and the name of the registered occupant.
Air freshener from Tommy Kaye
We are all afraid of this thing -- we can't make out the smell through the plastic wrapper, and no one wants to open it. I think we'll either get rid of it, put it in Vlad's Carolla, or give it to the first person who asks us for it.

Lots of DVDs!
We don't know how many free DVDs were available. Moli.com and GWG's reps encountered some I did not and vice-verse. Most of the discs contain trailers or 'clips versions' of movies, though one or two were strangely more like tech demo discs.
Abbywinters.com actually made a disc for the show. While it mostly features trailers for the DVD collection, and material from their website, the simple intro to the show goers was a smart touch. I thought it worked well with their live adult yoga performance at the show, and did a lot to make consumers aware of their branding.
Sadly there were no previews for Roma, Pirates 2, or The Four. I think that was a lost opportunity on the studio's part, as those movies are big budget enough to potentially "cross over" into main stream cinema like the original Pirates film did.
speciel mention: the Matrock DVD's high school wrestling focus is almost comical. It's totally camp, budget, and doesn't take itself very seriously. Oddly, one of the women it featured could act remarkably well. we don't know if that's a good or bad thing...
a few Magazines
None of the traditional porn-magz were around (no playboys, hustlers, etc.), but there were a few industry press books in the AVN booth. I have to say, there is almost nothing stranger than reading serious business focused news and journalism side by side pornography. I hate to admit it, but I got more intelligent business news and future casting reading these magz in the airport, than I did with 12 months of Forbes magazine...

Jesus Loves Porn Stars, a book from xxxChurch.com
We've flipped through this a few times now and still can't tell if the passages are made up, or what they have to do with porn stars in general. Some of the passages don't relate to their headers, nor do I understand the morals they are trying to teach me.
We will give this away or perhaps use it as the basis for a build-your-own role playing game experience.

Beer Cozy from Adam & Eve
This was thrown at me as I walked by A&E's booth. It took me a moment to realize what had happened, as I hadn't been looking in their direction, and was not expecting a foam thingy to hit me in the head.
A&E seemed to like hitting people in the head repeatedly, as more came at me and others anytime I was in the area. Oddly enough, it didn't encourage me to enter their booth and see what else they could hit me with...
BangBus.com Shirts and Hats
(not pictured) Bang Bus was tossing out black knit hats and tShirts at their booth. The BB staff wasn't making head shots, but they also were not giving you everything they had (no shirt for me!). The hat is a good quality piece, and shows no obvious connection to the porn industry. Unfortunately, it appears to be fitted for a young adult head size...
