This is a dangerous part of the year. We dangle from the rain slick edge day of days, know to most as the day before April Fools Day. Today, many of us prepare for extensive mischief and celebration.

And amidst this mess of excitement, something got me thinking. Between easter planning, april fools day prep, aniversary planning, and war-tatoe planning, I adhere to a great deal of ritual -- certain games, pranks, and behaviors that I must do to feel right with my week.

For example, April Fools is the one and only day during the year that I will play candy land (though I will cheat). Likewise, I must play at least one game of Social Class at Balticon every year.
